Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell that the Clerk, on behalf <br />of the Board, write a letter of congratulations to the Volunteer Ambulance <br />Squad on their successful operation of the service. Motion was seconded <br />by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried. <br />Commissioner Waddell moved, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and <br />unanimously carried, that Mr. Jack Jennings be employed to serve as <br />Administrator to the Board during the interim when Mr. Edwin Schmucker <br />is on leave of absence, at an annual salary of $10,000. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, the County Engineer was authorized <br />to have a street light installed at the intersection of Glendale <br />Road and Kings Highway. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell, the Engineer was authorized to make application to the Corps <br />of Engineers for the causeway at Round Island. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers that the Engineer be authorized to advertise for the necessary <br />plumbing in the restroom facilities and a 4" flow well for Sebastian <br />Inlet Park and for steel forms to build the Clemman Avenue Bridge. <br />The Board discussed the county road program and the following <br />is a revised list of Road Construction Priority: <br />A. Oslo Road from Rangeline to Ranch Road. <br />B. Glendale Road from Kings Highway to Monroe Road <br />C. 50th Avenue from Route 60 to Walker Avenue <br />D. County Jail Driveway <br />1. 6th Avenue from 10th Street to U.S.#1 and 10th Street from <br />6th Avenue to U. S. 1 <br />2. North Winter Beach Road from Lateral A to Rangeline Road <br />3.
