Burkeen, Assistant Chief <br /> Indian River County Fire Rescue <br /> DATE : May 5, 2008 <br /> SUBJECT: Approval of Notice of Retuning Schedule between Indian River <br /> County and Sprint Nextel <br /> On December 4, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Frequency Reconfiguration <br /> Agreement between Indian River County and Nextel South Corporation for radio rebanding. As a <br /> part of the process the parties must coordinate, agree upon and approve dates in which specific <br /> frequencies will be vacated. <br /> The attached agreement outlines those dates for the process and therefore needs to be executed by <br /> both parties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the agreement between Indian River County and Nextel South <br /> Corporation and authorizes the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners the authority to <br /> execute any future agreements for completion of the project. <br /> ATTACHMENT: <br /> Notice of Retuning Agreement between Indian River County and Sprint Nextel <br />
