Burkeen, Assistant Chief <br /> Indian River County Fire Rescue <br /> DATE : September 23, 2008 <br /> SUBJECT: Approval to Authorize Partial Payment for Communication <br /> International, Inc. for 800 MHz Rebanding. <br /> On December 4, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners approved a Frequency Reconfiguration <br /> Agreement between Indian River County and Nextel South Corporation for radio rebanding. As a <br /> part of the process Indian River County must authorize payment from Nextel to Communications <br /> International, Inc. for services provided during the rebanding. <br /> Attached are the Incumbent Acknowledgment and an invoice from Communications International, <br /> Inc. for services provided to this point in the process. <br /> On May 13 , 2008 , the BCC approved an agenda item that authorized the Chairman of the Board to <br /> execute any future agreements for completion of the project. That agenda item is attached for review. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Staff recommends approval of the Incumbent Acknowledgement and authorization that services <br /> identified on the invoice have been performed. <br /> ATTACHMENT: <br /> Incumbent Acknowledgement <br /> Invoice from Communications International, Inc. <br />
