Clearly indicate the location and extent of the project and whether it <br /> crosses water management district jurisdictions. Use an 81/2' by 11" format. Show highway <br /> intersections or other recognizable landmarks for orientation. The map may be a <br /> photocopy of part of a county road map or a USGS topographic map. Do not send color <br /> graphics unless they will reproduce satisfactorily in black and white. <br /> D. Interdistrict Impacts. If the proposed project crosses water management district boundaries <br /> or serves more than one water management district, provide a one-image summary of the effects <br /> that the project will have on water resources and water users within each district. Include the <br /> following information, at a minimum: <br /> • The amount(s) of water that will be transported across the district boundary <br /> • The locality from which the water will be taken <br /> • The utility and/ or users who will receive the water <br /> E. Utilities Only! The Florida Legislature requires utilities receiving funds through this <br /> program to meet several specific conditions concerning rates and consistency with <br /> comprehensive plans and requiring mandatory hookups to public reuse distribution systems. <br /> In order for SJRWMD to assess whether individual utilities meet the legislative requirements, <br /> utility applicants must attach the following items to their applications: <br /> 1 . Rate schedules. A copy of the rate schedule for each water, wastewater, and <br /> reclaimed water utility service operated by the applicant in the service area where the <br /> proposed project is located. <br /> 2. Certification of compatibility with local comprehensive plan. A letter from the <br /> local city or county land use planning authority, certifying that the project is <br /> consistent with the local comprehensive plan. (Do not include plan excerpts.) <br /> 3. Reuse ordinance (government-operated utilities only).
