discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Haffield and unanimously carried, that the Board approve <br />'the proposal. <br />Mr. Webber, Deputy Clerk, presented the Annual Financial Report <br />and upon Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield, the report, was unanimously approved'. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Haffield, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the Clerk was authorized to advertise <br />for bids for a validating machine for use in the Clerk Circuit Court °s <br />office at this time. A second machine will be necessary when the <br />Courthouse expansion plans are completed. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the followijg monthly expenditures <br />were approved for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1966: <br />General Fund, Alfred Lane, Lawn Care, $40.00; Harold L. Traxler, Building <br />Care, $50.00; Thomas J. Maxwell, Building Care, $50.00; the County <br />share of Blue Cross -Blue Shield premium; State of Florida, Child Welfare <br />Department, $975.00; Humane Society of Vero Beach $200.00; and a <br />quarterly remittance of $3,125.00 to the Indian River County Library <br />Association. Fine and Forfeiture Fund: Robert Jackson, Assibtant <br />State Attorney, $72.42 for clerical allowance; Spencer Gilbert, Assistant <br />State Attorney, $72.42 for clerical allowance; and Clerk Circuit Court <br />Orange County, Orlando, Florida, $225.00 for Public Defender. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Haffield and unanimously carried, the following Item to Item transfer <br />in the General Fund was authorized: - <br />A/C <br />FROM <br />951.
