The Contractor shall maintain the sodded area up to the final acceptance date as <br />directed by the Engineer. Grass height shall not exceed 6" without mowing. <br />Clippings shall be removed from sidewalk. <br />K. Article 575-5. The first two paragraphs under this Article are deleted and the <br />following substituted: <br />The contract unit price for sodding shall include the costs of sod, fertilizer (2 <br />applications), sidewalk sweeping after mowing, mowing, pegging disposal of <br />clippings, water, tools, equipment, labor and all other incidentals necessary. <br />L. Signing and pavement marking for traffic control shall conform to the requirements <br />of the Standard Specifications (2004), Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, <br />Supplemental Specifications, Roadway and Traffic Design Standards, <br />manufacturer's specifications. <br />B. Traffic Signs: All existing signs which are the property of the Owner shall be <br />transported to the Indian River County Road and Bridge Maintenance Yard by the <br />Contractor during construction if they are within the construction limits. Care shall <br />be exercised by the Contractor during removal, storage and relocation so as not to <br />damage the signs. If any damage occurs, as determined by the Owner's Engineer <br />or Resident Construction Inspector, the sign shall be replaced by the Contractor <br />with no compensation. <br />C. All reflective pavement markers shall be 4" x 4". <br />SECTION 00948 MISCELLANEOUS TYPES OI <br />A.
