SECTION 3 <br /> RESTORATION <br /> 2 . 3 . 1 . <br /> Paved Road Restoration <br /> Description <br /> This work shall consist of furnishing materials, equipment, testing, labor and all else necessary to <br /> restore all cement concrete and asphaltic concrete roads including base and sub-base course <br /> materials which are disturbed as a result of this Contract Restoration of roads shall be completed <br /> in accordance with the Contract Plans and as specified herein. <br /> Materials and Methods of Construction <br /> Shall conform to the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and <br /> Bridge Construction, Latest Edition, and Indian River County Standards as applicable. <br /> The County Engineer will be notified of all maintenance of traffic plans . <br /> Excess fill will be the property of the County. <br /> Density tests shall be taken for road restoration. Base shall be machine compacted. On. County <br /> collector and arterial roads, a temporary patch is required within twenty-four (24) hours of cut. <br /> Final patch shall be smooth and even. <br /> 2 . 3 .2. Non-Paved Road Restoration <br /> Description <br /> This item of work shall include all furnishing of materials, equipment, testing, labor and all else <br /> tnecessary to restore all non-paved roads, including sub-base course materials. This item shall <br /> include all limerock, shell and cemented-coquina roads. <br /> Materials and Methods of Construction <br /> Shall conform to the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and <br /> Bridge Construction, Latest Edition, and Indian River County Standards as applicable. <br /> 32 <br />
