Johns Water Management District <br /> • Indian River Community College <br /> • Florida Division of Forestry <br /> All jurisdictions in Indian River County (Vero Beach , Fellsmere , Sebastian , <br /> Orchid , and Indian River Shores ) participated in the development of this LMS by serving on <br /> the LMS Working Group and by reviewing and commenting on draft versions of the plan . <br /> One representative from each of the organizations listed above was designated <br /> to be the contact person for that particular organization . <br /> 1 . 3. 1 . 3 Working Group Responsibilities <br /> The Steering Committee had the following responsibilities : <br /> • To develop and revise an LMS as necessary ; <br /> • To coordinate all mitigation activities within the County ; <br /> To set an order of priority for local mitigation projects ; and <br /> • To submit annual LMS updates to the Florida Division of Emergency <br /> Management by the last working weekday of each January . Updates shall <br /> address , at a minimum : <br /> Changes to the hazard assessment; <br /> Changes to the PPL ; <br /> - Changes to critical facilities ; <br /> Changes to the repetitive loss list ; and <br /> Revisions to any maps . <br /> The Working Group also was responsible for reviewing and providing comments <br /> on all draft sections of the LMS provided by CSA . A formal voting process took place for <br /> approval of draft final and final sections of the LMS . Informal voting took place for issues <br /> other than approval of draft final or final sections of the LMS . The participating organization <br /> representatives were responsible for attending Working Group meetings , ora ranging for <br /> another representative of the organization to attend the meeting in their absence . <br /> 1 . 3. 1 . 4 Voting <br /> The voting and approval process for the Working Group was as follows . Each <br /> organization listed in Section 1 . 3 . 1 . 2 received one vote . A simple majority rules procedure <br /> 1 -7 <br />
