WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 4, 1967 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida,, on Wed- <br />nesday, January 4, 1967, at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Robert W. <br />Graves, Chairman; D, B. McCullers, Jr., Donald Macdonald, and new members,: <br />Jack Dritenbas and Richard Bogosian. Also present were Jack Jennings, <br />County Administrator; Ralph Harris, Clerk Circuit Court; and Alfred H. <br />Webber and Ruth Elliott, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and Ralph Harris, Clerk <br />Circuit Court, administered the Oath of Office to Jack Dritenbas and <br />Richard Bogosian. Chairman Graves then asked the Clerk to preside for <br />the purpose of reorganizing for the ensuing year. <br />The Clerk then asked for nominations for Chairman of the Board. <br />Commissioner Macdonald nominated Robert W. Graves; and Commissioner <br />McCullers moved that nominations cease. Thereupon, Robert W. Graves <br />Was elected Chairman for the ensuing year, and theCaerk.`.turned the <br />the meeting over to Chairman. Graves, who called for. nominations for <br />Vice -Chairman of the Board. Commissioner Dritenbas nominated Richard <br />Bogosian, and Commissioner Macdonald. nominated D. B. McCullers, Jr.. <br />In oral balloting,. D. B. McCullers, Jr. was elected Vice -Chairman o <br />the Board for the ensuing year. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, that Sherman N., Smith, Jr.,'be appointed <br />as Attorney to the Board. <br />Commissioner McCullers moved that Edwin S, Schmucker, presently <br />on leave of absence, be reemployed as County Engineer for the coming year. <br />Motion seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and carried. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and carried, Jack Jennings was rehired as County Administrator <br />until August 1, 1967. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and carried, Gladys Vigliano was rehired as Case Worker for the <br />County Welfare Department for the coming year. ,Commissioner Macdonald <br />moved, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and carries], that Thomas H. <br />JAN 4 196?
