L. <br />The Board then reviewed the Memorandum from Sherman N. Smith, <br />County Attorney,. dated January )16 :1967, which had been received by <br />each member of the Board, the Administrator and the Clerk. <br />After discussion concerning a Special Act to provide emergency <br />ambulance service, Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded <br />by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried, that the Administrator• <br />-be requested to advise the Trustees of the Indian River County Hospital <br />District that it is the feeling of this Board that legislation is <br />essential to permit ambulance service in the County in the event, hoping <br />it will never occur, that the Volunteer Service can no longer continue; <br />and that this Board understands that the Hospital Trustees will sponsor <br />such legislation to permit them t� provide ambulance service if necessary. <br />The Administrator asked the Board to 'advise him on the disposition <br />of the buildings at Wabasso Beach: Park and Commissioner Macdonald moved <br />that the Administrator be directed to make plans to demolish the buildings <br />as soon as it is convenient with his other operations. After discussion, <br />'Commissioner Macdonald withdrew his motion, Commissioner Dritenbas <br />moved that the Board re -advertise for the. removal of the buildings <br />at Wabasso Beach Park. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Bogosian <br />and unanimously carried. <br />The Clerk reported to the Board that the County Tax Collector, <br />County Tax Assessor, Clerk of the Circuit Court, County Prosecuting <br />Attorney and Judge of the Small Claims Court have filed their reports <br />to the Board for the year 1966; of their fees and commissions, in <br />accordance with provisions of Section 145.12, Florida Statutes. <br />After considerable discussion, Commissioner Macdonald moved, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried, that the <br />Administrator be directed to reply to the letter of December 23 from <br />the Insurance Agents of Indian River County, with respect to Fire <br />Protection Districts in the County, to request that the information <br />and data previously furnished be supplemented in these respects: <br />JAN 1 R 1967 BOOK 10 PAGE234 <br />
