as a result of any change in an estimated quantity and agrees to accept the <br />aforesaid unit bid prices as complete and total compensation for any additions or <br />deductions caused by a variation in quantities as a result of more accurate <br />measurement, or by any changes or alterations in the Work ordered by OWNER, <br />and for use in the computation of the value of the Work performed for progress <br />payments. <br />1.3 RELATED PROVISIONS <br />A. Payments to CONTRACTOR: Refer to General Conditions and Agreement. <br />B. Changes in Contract Price: Refer to General Conditions. <br />1.4 BID ITEMS <br />1.0 GENERAL ITEMS <br />A. Item 1.01 — Mobilization and Item 1.05 - Demobilization: <br />1. Measurement: The lump sum payment will be full compensation for mobilization <br />and demobilization of construction operations, including but not limited to, <br />performance of construction preparatory and finalization operations, including all <br />labor and materials necessary to transport equipment and personnel to and from <br />the project site, temporary construction utilities, CONTRACTOR's field offices, <br />and removing all of the CONTRACTOR's equipment, etc, from the project site <br />when the Work is complete. <br />2. Payments: The total lump sum to be paid for this item shall not exceed <br />five (5) percent of the total bid. Bid item 1.01 may be paid in the first <br />application for payment and the bid item 1.05 amount shall be paid in the last <br />application for payment as demobilization. No additional payment will be made <br />for demobilization or remobilization due to shutdowns, suspensions of work or <br />for other mobilization activities. <br />B. Item 1.02 - Performance Bond: <br />1. Measurement: The lump sum payment will be full compensation for providing a <br />Performance Bond as required by these Contract Documents. <br />2. Payment: The total lump sum to be paid for this item shall not exceed one <br />and one-half (1.5) percent of the total bid. Twenty-five (25) percent of the bid <br />item amount may be paid in the first application for payment and the remaining <br />seventy-five (75) percent of the bid item amount shall be paid in the last <br />application for payment. <br />C. Item 1.03 - Payment Bond: <br />1.
