G. Immediately on delivery, inspect shipment to assure: <br />1. Product complies with requirements of Contract Documents and reviewed <br />submittals. <br />2. Quantities are correct. <br />3. Containers and packages are intact; labels are legible. <br />4. Products are properly protected and undamaged. <br />5. OWNER is advised OWNER provided items are delivered. <br />1.3 PRODUCT HANDLING <br />A. Provide equipment and personnel necessary to handle products, by methods to <br />prevent soiling or damage to products or packaging. <br />B. Provide additional protection during handling as necessary to prevent scraping, <br />marring or otherwise damaging products or surrounding surfaces. <br />C. Handle products by methods to prevent bending or overstressing. <br />D. Lift heavy components only at designated lifting points. <br />E. Always handle materials and equipment in a safe manner and as recommended <br />by manufacturer or supplier so that no damage will occur to them. Do not drop, <br />roll, or skid products off delivery vehicles.
