Except where approved by the ENGINEER or the ENGINEER's CONSULTANT, <br />store the above materials on wood blocking so there is no contact with the ground. <br />1.3 COVERED STORAGE <br />A. The following types of materials may be stored out-of-doors if covered with <br />material impervious to water: <br />1. Lumber for internal use. <br />2. Non -Electrical Restroom Fixtures <br />3. Unopened painting materials <br />B. Tie down covers with rope and slope to prevent accumulation of water on covers. <br />C. Store materials on wood blocking. <br />1.4 FULLY PROTECTED STORAGE <br />A. Store all products not named above in buildings or trailers that have a suitable <br />floor, a roof, and fully closed walls on all sides. <br />B. Protect mechanical and electrical equipment from being contaminated by dust, <br />dirt, and moisture. <br />C. Maintain humidity at levels recommended by manufacturers for electrical and <br />electronic equipment. <br />1.5 MAINTENANCE OF STORAGE <br />A. Inspect stored products on a scheduled basis to assure that: <br />1. State of storage facilities is adequate to provide required conditions. <br />2. Required environmental conditions are maintained on continuing basis. <br />3. Products exposed to elements are not adversely affected. <br />B.
