SECTION 02534 SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAINS imei31 1p1:7\fw A. Scope The work to be performed under this Item shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment and labor required for the installation of force mains as herein described and as shown on the Plans. The Contractor shall perform all excavation, backfilling, compacting, testing and related work required for the construction of these mains in accordance with the provisions set forth under the applicable items of this Specification. B. References Standards applicable in this Specification shall be: 1) American Water Works Association (AWWA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI). a. AWWA C104 (ANSI A21.4) Cement -Mortar Lining for Ductile -Iron and Gray -Iron Pipe and Fittings for water. b.
