State Attorney, Assistant State Attorneys, office expenses, secretarial <br />help and office equipments After considerable discussion, Motion was <br />made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and <br />unanimously carried that the Board publish the legal notice of local <br />legislation pertainingto supplementing the budget of the State -Attorney. <br />Mr. Frank Shearer appeared before the Board and requested the <br />County to install a street light at the entrance to Vero Beach Highlands <br />Subdivision. It was moved by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the County Ad- <br />ministrator be requested to check this location and also the entrance <br />to Ixora Park Subdivision on 27th Avenue to see if they meet the criteria <br />of the County for the installation of street lights. <br />Mr. G. A. Perkins,-:, representing..Floraiina':Exploration Company, <br />was present in regard to his company's request to run-drilling•.tests <br />for minerals on all road rights-of-way maintained by• the County. After <br />discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the Board tenta- <br />tively approves the request of G. A. Perkins, on behalf of Floralina <br />Exploration Company, for permit for drilling on County roads as out- <br />lined- in letter of February 3, 1967, with the request that he submit <br />to the Countyhis proposal in writing, with a map of the approximate <br />locations of each place to be drilled; agreeing to furnish the County <br />on -the -spot geological data; to limit the drilling to not more than <br />sixty (60) days from beginning and to end not more than one (1) year <br />from this dates and to hold the County harmless from any liability and <br />not to interfere with traffic on County roads. <br />The Chairman read a letter from D. L.
