The County Administrator reported that the right of way, has been flagged for the extension of North Winter Beach Road between Rangeline and Ranch Roads, and that there are Florida Power and Light poles which will be nine feet from the edge of the pave ant, creating a construction prdblem and a traffic hazard. After discussion, Commissioner Macdonald moved that the County Administrator be requested to instruct Florida Power and Light Company to ove the poles to a position within seven feet of the north right of way line. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried. The County Adinistrator presented a proposal from Jackson Brothers for 30' additional right of way on 43rd Avenue between North and South Gifford roads, in the vicinity of the new school. A discussion followed on the cost to_the County of the removal of approximately 300 Australian pine trees. The Board agreed that they should be removed by county forces so long as it does not interfere with other work to be done in the County. After further discussion; Commissioner Macdonald moved that the Board accept the proposal as set forth in the letter from the owners, Jackson Brothers, dated April 4, 1967. Motion was seconded by Commissioner McCullirs and unanimously carried. Motion was ade by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously c::rried, that the county payroll procedures be changed, effective April 14, 1967, so that the class of county employees now being paid on a semi-:onthly basis ;',ay in the future be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The County Administrator requested permission to cooperate with the State Road Department in remiaing the2bridge over the canal at the intersection of Oslo .Road and Cleanns Avenue which has settled. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner. Dritenbas and unanimously carried, that the Administrators request to join with the State in repairing the bridge be authorized. The Administrator advised the Board that he has received a request that the County cut down soe trees around the edge of the Winter Beach Cemetery, Tha: cemeteryL'istraintaaihedy by the Winter Beach Cemetery Association. After discussion, it was moved by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the request be granted because of the fact. that the County uses the cemetery for burial of paupers, at no cost to the County.
