Commissioner Dritenbas reported..that a resident of Whispering <br />Palms Subdivision has questioned him.who is. to maintain the concrete <br />block sign at the entrance to the subdivision which is in bad condition. <br />The County Administrator was requested to contact the property owners' <br />association to see if they want to maintain it; otherwise, if it is <br />on the right-of-way, the County will take it down. <br />Commissioner Dritenbas recommended and moved that the County <br />advertise for bids to repair whatever is necessary to the outside of <br />the Civil Defense building. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried. <br />Commissioner Macdonald suggested and requested the County <br />• Administrator to arrange for two garbage collections a week, rather <br />than one, at the Wabasso Beach Park, <br />On Motion by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried, Commissioner Macdonald was authorized <br />to attend a special meeting of the East Central Florida Regional Planning <br />Council in Titusville on May 27. <br />A copy of Resolution adopted by the Riverside Pomona Grange <br />#3, Legislative Committee, was received,requesting the County <br />Commissioners of Indian River and BrevardCounties to cap or plug <br />all flowing wells not in use and to cap all wells now used in mosquito <br />control until the drought emergency is over.— <br />An <br />vers <br />An application for License to carry Firearm was received <br />from Rachel H. Moody, together with a Bond in the sum of $100.00,1 <br />and a letter of recommendation from Sam T.•Joyce, Sheriff, and a letter <br />from her employer, Bill M. Moody," Bil'l's Gulf Service.
