ATTACHMENT <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL DISTRICT <br /> FELLSMERE CONVENIENCE CENTER EXPANSION <br /> SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> This Scope of Services covers work to be performed by the Brown and Caldwell consultant team <br /> (BC Team) for the Indian River County Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) related to the <br /> planning, design, permitting, and construction of an expansion to the existing Fellsmere <br /> Convenience Center located at 12510 C .R. 512 . Included in this Scope of Services is site planning, <br /> surveying, geotechnical and environmental site investigations, permitting, engineering and <br /> landscaping design, bidding assistance and construction phase services. In addition to on-site <br /> improvements, the project also includes off-site improvements consisting of utility extensions and <br /> roadway improvements as further defined herein. <br /> This Scope of Services has been broken down into a series of nine (9) primary work elements, or <br /> tasks. A brief description of the work to be performed under each task is presented below: <br /> TASK 1 — PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> 1 . Work Order Administration - Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements with <br /> subconsultants. Monitor the progress of work on the project against budget and schedule <br /> targets. Provide monthly status reports to Indian River County as documentation <br /> accompanying invoices for work performed. Coordinate the efforts of BC Team members <br /> with weekly meetings and/or conference calls. <br /> 2 . Proiect Management Plan - Prepare a Project Management Plan for the project, identifying <br /> the roles of the various members of the BC Team and their specific scopes of work, a project <br /> staffing plan, a communications plan, a QA/QC plan, and other procedural information <br /> relevant to work on the project. <br /> 3 . Project Review Meetings - Conduct project review meetings at regular intervals with SWDD <br /> staff. The first meeting will be a project kick-off meeting to review the objectives of the <br /> project and the scope, schedule and budget for completion of work. It is anticipated that <br /> subsequent meetings will be held at approximately monthly intervals thereafter to review the <br /> status of work in progress, to resolve any outstanding issues, and to provide SWDD staff <br /> with the opportunity to have input into the project as it proceeds to completion. <br /> TASK 2 — SITE INVESTIGATIONS <br /> 1 . Wetland Delineation/T&E Species Survey — Determine wetland areas and vegetative <br /> communities . Flag wetland boundaries in accordance with the F .A. C . and U. S . A.C .E. <br /> Manual.
