design, coordination, and follow-up work necessary to support permit applications . The <br /> COUNTY will review the permit applications as necessary. The ENGINEER shall <br /> assemble and be responsible for the final submittal. <br /> The ENGINEER shall prepare permit sketches for submission by the COUNTY to <br /> Florida Department of Environmental Protection, IRFWCD and St. Johns River Water <br /> Management District, if necessary. The ENGINEER shall submit all permit sketches on <br /> 8 . 5 " x I I " sheets . Sketches shall be neatly scaled, signed and sealed, and reproducible. <br /> E. Utilities <br /> Utility coordination with the various Utility Companies and/or agencies shall be by the <br /> ENGINEER. <br /> F. Construction Phase Services <br /> We anticipate that the project will be bid . The bidding process will be the responsibility <br /> of the COUNTY. The ENGINEER will attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings to address <br /> contractor questions and requests for clarifications regarding construction of site work. <br /> The ENGINEER will attend pre-construction and progress meetings with contractor(s) <br /> and agencies as required. The ENGINEER will review and approve shop <br /> drawings/submittals from contractors . The ENGINEER will conduct routine site <br /> inspections to verify that the work is proceeding in accordance with the plans and <br /> specifications for the purpose of certification upon completion of the work. The <br /> ENGINEER will conduct a substantial completion inspection to verify the completion <br /> of the punch list items. The ENGINEER will provide final certifications of the site <br /> work to permitting agencies as required by the agencies . <br /> G. Certification <br /> The ENGINEER will provide certification to IRFWCD, St. Johns River Water <br /> Management District and all other required Federal, State, and local permitting agencies <br /> based on As-Built drawings provided by the Contractor' s licensed surveyor and <br /> information provided by the COUNTY. <br /> SECTION IV - TIME FOR COMPLETION <br /> The time for completion of the 90% design drawings, permit applications, and Engineer's <br /> Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the project shall be ninety (90) calendar days from the date <br /> of execution of this AGREEMENT . <br /> Page 5 of 12 <br />
