The Chairman appointed Commissioner Bogosian, Commissioner <br />McCullers and the County .Attorney to serve on a joint committee of the <br />County Commissioners and the Vero Beach City Council to investigate <br />the possibility of Piper Aircraft expanding in Vero Beach and providing <br />them with the facilities they feel they need in order to enlarge their <br />plant here. <br />The Board discussed the proposed Agreement between this Bbard <br />and the Florida Board of Forestry on a portion of Wimbrow'Park and' on <br />Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCulleis, <br />the =following Resolution was unanimously adopted: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 67-38 <br />1 <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith approve the draft <br />of a proposed Agreement dated June 21, 1967, between this Board, as Owner, <br />and the Florida Board of Forestry, as User, pertaining to thirty-seven (37) <br />acres of land owned by the County, a part of the area known as Wimbrow Park,. <br />and does herewith authorize and direct the Chairman and Clerk of this Board <br />to execute the Agreement, to affix the seal of this Board and to deliver the <br />same and to do any and all things necessary in order to consummate the terms <br />of the Agreement. <br />21 <br />
