In the event that you want DE&T to <br /> provide the monitoring/inspection of production pile installations , we have included a separate <br /> estimate for these services (Attachments A, B and Q . Also , we understand that no pre-cast pile <br /> yard inspection is required during the forming, pre- stressing and casting of pre- cast bridge <br /> elements because the pre-cast piles are being produced from a FDOT certified plant ( Standard <br /> Pre-Cast of Tampa, FL) . <br /> Our work scope/budget does not include vibration monitoring. Pursuant to Section 455 of <br /> MOT Standard Specifications, the Contractor should be responsible for protection of <br /> existing structures (e.g., monitoring settlements and vibrations during pile driving) . If you <br /> desire, DE&T can provide vibration monitoring services. <br /> Roadway Construction <br /> • In-place moisture density testing of embankment fill, pipe backfill , stabilized subgrade, <br /> base course, and curb pads . <br /> • Laboratory testing of soils and aggregates including Proctors, Limerock Bearing Ratio <br /> (LBR) , soil classification, carbonate content (base) , and other such specified QC tests . <br /> • Preparation and issuance of engineering reports presenting the test results and their <br /> compliance with the project specifications . <br /> All of our services (work) will be carried out under the guidance and supervision of a Florida <br /> registered professional engineer. Our engineers will be available to attend meetings and assist <br /> with the trouble-shooting of potential issues to help you keep the project on schedule and within <br /> budget. <br /> Our services will be furnished to you on an unit rate (i . e. , per test or per hour) basis under a not- <br /> to-exceed budget amount . <br /> 000 <br /> DEET <br />
