PROJECT UNDERSTANDING <br />The County is having final design documents prepared by Hydra <br />Environmental Consulting & Technology, Inc.; and G. K. Environmental, Inc <br />Marsh Regional Stormwater Park (Egret Marsh) in southwest Indian River <br />major components of the design includes at least two pumping stations, the <br />of two existing borrow pits for stormwater treatment processes (primary se <br />polishing), a proprietary algal turf scrubber system, and a small polishing wet <br />2. BACKGROUND <br />The County is interested in an independent analysis in the form of a value <br />constructibility review of the design contract documents. The scope of worl <br />value analysis and constructibility review activity that will be performed on t <br />50 percent and 90 percent complete contract documents (drawings <br />specifications). The value analysis activity will provide both potential consti <br />cycle cost savings by developing alternative approaches to constrl, <br />specifications, and material selection. The value analysis and constructibilit) <br />performed on the following specialty design disciplines: <br />Civil <br />Mechanical <br />Electrical <br />Instrumentation/Process Control <br />The value analysis and constructibility review will not be performed on the str <br />discipline. <br />The constructibility review will identify those areas in the documents, <br />potentially cause field problems and delays during the construction <br />constructibility review comments will potentially improve the quality of the co <br />on this project. <br />3.
