Page 2 <br /> HERON CAY . Specific Purpose Survey <br /> Work Order No: 2 Burdett & Assoc <br /> SECTION I : SPECIFIC PURPOSE (TOPOGRAPHIC) SURVEY : <br /> 1 . Establish adequate vertical ( NGVD 29 ) control on site to perform all tasks . <br /> 2 . Obtain sufficient elevation and measurement data on all mobile home sites and <br /> drainage features as outlined in exhibit "A" . The consultant shall use due <br /> diligence in accessing and obtaining elevations under mobile homes and <br /> drainage features , providing specific information regarding conditions , pumps <br /> and/or features <br /> 3 . The Consultant shall prepare a Specific Purpose Survey ( Sketch ) as depicted in <br /> exhibit " B" . Drawing to be prepared at a scale and sheet amounts to be <br /> determined , delineating lot number, address and topographic details of each <br /> individual mobile home site/lot . <br /> 4 . As an attachment to the drawing sheets indicated in exhibit "A" , the consultant <br /> shall prepare an informational "tabulation " of the drainage features as it relates to <br /> previous design plans . <br /> 5 . Project Deliverables shall consist of three signed and sealed 24" x 36" and three <br /> reduced 11 " x 17" versions "hardcopy" plots , reproducible PDF versions of the <br /> final product and AutoCAD 2005 format on CD . Prior to final delivery the <br /> Consultant will deliver one copy of the survey to the County Surveyor for review <br /> and approval . <br /> SECTION II : COUNTY OBLIGATIONS . <br /> 1 . The County shall organize and distribute letters of notification to the individual <br /> site owners advising them of the project and proposed tasks , obtain access <br /> approvals and confirm that individual owners shall be responsible for providing a <br /> minimum 3 foot opening along the bottom of mobile homes for proper access to <br /> terrain under the structure . <br /> 2 . The County shall advise and obtain approval from the park ownership/ <br /> management for property access prior to all tasks . <br /> 3 . The County shall supply vertical control ( Bench Marks) in the vicinity of the main <br /> entrance at time of notice to proceed . <br /> SECTION III : ADDITIONAL SERVICES . <br /> 1 . As per this work order additional services pertaining to the project in the form of <br /> meetings and additional filed or office survey task shall be performed upon prior <br /> approval of county staff and based on the accepted fee schedule for the annual <br /> survey services contract for 2005-2006 as established on September 31 , 2005 . <br /> Fee schedule attached Exhibit "C" . <br /> 2 . Furthermore if required ; Professional Surveyor and Mapper ( Marty Burdette <br /> P . S . M . ) shall provide Expert Witness testimony services (as approved prior to <br /> commencement) and shall be based on an hourly rate of $ 165 . 00 . <br /> 3 . All additional services shall be on a NOT TO EXCEED basis in the amount of <br /> $2 , 000 . 00 . <br /> SECTION IV : COMPENSATION . <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the SURVEYOR agrees to accept , a fee for services <br /> rendered according to the "Scope of Services" identified in the attached EXHIBIT "A" <br /> Fee outline . <br /> A Lump Sum of " Not to exceed " $ 19 , 062 . 00* <br /> • " Task shall be outlined and invoiced a per unit basis of Not to Exceed <br /> basis of $478 . 00 per unit/lot survey <br /> • * Invoices shall provide separate line items for sites/units , drainage <br /> surveys and additional services as completed . <br /> • * If site/unit surveys fall below 20 , fees shall be subject to negotiations <br /> F:\Engineering\Capital Projects\0390-Annual Survey Contracts\Burdette\Heron Cay\Burdette WO #2- HERON CAY 2005 -mob .
