ATTACHMENT 1 to WORK ORDER NO. 2 -EM <br />SUPPORT ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE COUNTY'S ALTERNATE <br />DESIGN OF THE INFLUENT PUMP STATION FOR EGRET MARSH <br />REGIONAL STORMWATER PARK <br />1. PROJECT SCOPE <br />The COUNTY is preparing an alternate design for the influent pump station for the Egret <br />Marsh Regional Stormwater Park (Egret Marsh). The CONSULTANT shall assist the <br />COUNTY in the alternate design by providing structural and electrical engineering services <br />as necessary to compliment and complete the COUNTY's pump station design. Said <br />services shall include Construction Drawings, Technical Specifications, and Engineer's <br />Opinion of Probable Construction Cost for the design's structural and electrical <br />components. <br />The CONSULTANT will provide the electrical and structural engineering drawings as <br />necessary to clearly and concisely depict and describe the alternate pump station project. <br />The drawings will be prepared in AutoCADTM Release 2005 or later on compact disk using <br />a 24" x 36" drawing format. The base design (civil and mechanical) will be provided by the <br />COUNTY. The CONSULTANT will review appropriate sections of COUNTY technical <br />specifications and provide an internal quality assurance and "constructability" review prior <br />to all submittals to the COUNTY. Specific tasks follow: <br />2. DESIGN SERVICES <br />2.1 60 Percent Desiqn <br />The CONSULTANT will submit one set of drawings to the COUNTY for review at the 60 <br />percent completion level. If required by the COUNTY, the CONSULTANT will meet with <br />the COUNTY to discuss the submittals and subsequently revise the drawings per the <br />COUNTY's comments. <br />The 60 percent level of completion submittal will include a complete set of structural and <br />electrical drawings indicating all pertinent features of the influent pump station together <br />with applicable construction details. <br />The CONSULTANT will submit one set of technical specifications at the 60 percent <br />completion levels. The 60 percent submittal will include a table of contents and a <br />preliminary draft of all the required technical specification sections. <br />2.2 90 Percent Design <br />The 90 percent level of completion is defined as the incorporation of all COUNTY <br />comments received and verified after the 60 percent review with the COUNTY. The <br />drawings will be at a level of completion that will allow the project to be bid.
