The Engineer will attend and conduct monthly construction meeting during the anticipated six <br /> month construction period. Minutes of the meetings will be collected and project progress will be <br /> discussed with the Contractor and County staff. The Engineer will review the Contractor' s most <br /> recent progress payment request and prepare a recommendation to the County . <br /> The Engineer will visit the construction sites once per week during active construction (four <br /> months) to observe Contractor progress. The Engineer will provide on site representation of a <br /> geotechnical subconsultant to observe the foundation pour, pile testing and direct appropriate <br /> concrete materials testing . This work is anticipated to be approximately 20 working days. <br /> The Engineer will review shop drawings as well as address RFI comments from the Contractor. <br /> The Contractor will provide foundation and structural design of the new tank as part of its shop <br /> drawing submittal . <br /> The Engineer will visit the sites at Substantial and Final Completion levels and prepare a <br /> correction list summary for the Contractor. <br /> After receipt of as-built drawings from the Contractor, the Engineer will prepare record drawings <br /> and submit to the County . <br /> COUNTY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES <br /> The County will provide the following information or will perform the following activities : <br /> 1 . Provide record drawings and property information for the three tank sites. <br /> 2 . Provide system pressure variations . <br /> 3 . Schedule coordination meetings with appropriate County staff. <br /> 4 . Review of documents and reports in a timely manner. <br /> 5 . Provide a designated point of contact for the Engineer during design and construction . <br /> 6 . Provide appropriate front end documents for the project <br /> 7 . County to provide fees for FDEP permit application <br /> 3 <br />
