On Motion by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried, the matter pertaining to the performance bond of Vero <br />Beach Development Company for Vero Beach Tropical Gardens, Unit 1 and 2, <br />was referred to the County Administrator for additional data. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers, <br />and unanimously carried, the Board approved the letter of the County Attorney. <br />to Douglas Baker and wife, dated September 28, 1967, expressing the agreement <br />of the County to the State releasing all of the property in the Murphy Act <br />reservation that is beyond 50 feet from the center line of the pavement on <br />North Gifford Road. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian <br />land unanimously carried, the following.resolution was adopted: <br />11 <br />RESOLUTION 'NO. 67- 60 -4( <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith respectfully <br />request the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund of the State of Florida <br />to convey without consideration to Indian River County, Florida, the parcel <br />of land situated in Indian River County, Florida, described as follows, to - <br />wit: <br />The Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of <br />the Northwest quarter of Section 29, Township 31 <br />South, Range 39 East, containing 10 acres; <br />to be held, used and retained by said County for public park purposes. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Mc- <br />Cullers and unanimously carried, that this Board determines that this County <br />shall not make application to the Department of Public Safety for a license <br />to operate inspection stations in Indian River County in accordance with <br />Chapter 67-307, Laws of Florida. <br />Commissioner Macdonald reported on a meeting he attended on Air Pollution, <br />and he recommended to the Board that we be alert to the conditions and when <br />the State Pollution Control Board is formed and make their recommendations, <br />we can just include those recommendations in our zoning laws and in that <br />way stay abreast of the efforts statewide. <br />OPT 419L, <br />90414 10 PAGE 81 <br />
