McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, <br />the bond of said Deputy Sheriff was approved and ordered filed with the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />The Monthly reports of the County Welfare Worker, the County Agent <br />and the County Service Officer were received and placed on file. <br />Upon Motion by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the Board of County Commissioners <br />authorizes all travelers on behalf of Indian River County to be reimbursed <br />for per diem and expenses for such travel in accordance with- <br />Chapter 67 2206. <br />On Motion by Commissioners McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas and unanimously carried Change Order #5 on the courthouse <br />addition was approved. <br />The Board discussed the insurance proposals for employees' hospital-. <br />ization from Blue Cross -Blue Shield and Bankers Life and Casualty Company. <br />On Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald <br />and unanimously carried the proposal of Blue Cross -Blue Shield including <br />Major Medical was accepted for the fiscal year 1967-68. (The representative <br />of Bankers Life and Casualty Company had agreed to appear before 11:30 A.M. <br />but did not do so.) <br />Upon Motion by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian the Blue Cross Representative was authorized to inquire of the <br />County Employees with regard to participation in the Life Insurance Program.' <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried that the architect for the County, <br />William G. Taylor, has given his certificate to this Board that he has <br />inspected, approved and accepted the construction and the changes and <br />additions in the existing Courthouse in accordance with the contract <br />between the County and Netto Construction, Inc. and has further certified <br />that final payment of the balance clue for the work is now due in the amount <br />of $6,140.40 and that this Board has inspected and accepted the work and <br />found it to be complete and payment to the contractor for balance of the <br />contract shall be forthwith made. <br />OCT 4 1967 <br />goon 10 pAGE483 <br />
