Ms. Polly Kratman GeoSyntec Consultants <br /> Indian River County <br /> 15 September 2006 <br /> Page 3 <br /> application; and (iv) other compliance monitoring reporting and technical support that may <br /> be required for the IRCL facility. <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The proposed scope of work includes activities to be performed on behalf of SWDD <br /> for the compliance monitoring reporting and other technical support services for the Class I <br /> landfill and C&D disposal facility. For the purpose of budgeting, the scope of work has <br /> been divided into the following five main tasks: <br /> • Task 1 — Project Management/Meetings ; <br /> • Task 2 — Preparation of Annual and Semi-Annual Reports ; <br /> • Task 3 — Preparation of Biennial Report; <br /> • Task 4 — Tier 2 Testing and Reporting; and <br /> • Task 5 — Miscellaneous Compliance and Technical Support. <br /> The remainder of this section presents a general description of the activities to be <br /> performed in each task. <br /> Task 1 — Proiect Mana2ement/Meetin2s <br /> Under this task, GeoSyntec will perform project planning and management <br /> responsibilities , such as correspondence with SWDD and FDEP, invoice review, project <br /> coordination, and project administration. GeoSyntec has also included budget for <br /> preparation and attendance (by two GeoSyntec personnel) at two meetings with SWDD <br /> and/or FDEP , as needed. <br /> Task 2 — Preparation of Annual and Senri-Annual Reports <br /> GeoSyntec will prepare the annual and semi-annual water-quality reports as required <br /> by the MPIS . As previously indicated, field testing, sample collection, and water-level <br /> measurements will be performed by SWDD, and the laboratory analytical testing will be <br /> conducted by US Biosystems .
