Our File #0635 <br /> February 8, 2007 <br /> NON-EXCLUSIVE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AGREEMENT <br /> CONTINUING CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> • Project Description <br /> Work Order No. 5 provides for professional engineering services for the surveying, design, permitting, <br /> bidding and services during construction of a 12" reuse main for conveyance of reuse water in 43rd <br /> Avenue between 13th Street SW & 25' Street SW. <br /> Work Order No. 5 is being implemented at this time to provide professional engineering services by <br /> Masteller & Moler, Inc. associated with the project described above. The work to be performed as part <br /> of this Work Order will generally include preparation of project design for the proposed 12" reuse <br /> pipeline, preparation of contract plans; preparation of specifications and bid documents; preparation and <br /> submittal of permit applications, assistance during bidding and contract administration/periodic <br /> inspection for the pipeline project. <br /> The estimated project construction cost is $500,000.00 <br /> A brief description of the scope of services for Work Order No. 5 is provided below: <br /> • Scone of Services <br /> Task A — Route Survey and Base Plans <br /> Masteller, Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc. will perform Professional Land Surveying services for the <br /> completion and preparation of a route survey and base plans of 43`d Avenue from the intersection of 250' <br /> Street SW north to 13d' Street SW to include the following: <br /> 1 . Establish survey baseline and tie to state plane coordinates. <br /> 2. Locate and identify all monumentation for establishment of existing rights-of-way. <br /> 3 . Locate and identify all visible topographic features along the route. Improvements including but <br /> not limited to the location of existing pavement, driveways, culverts, power poles, mailboxes, <br /> fences, trees, etc. <br /> 4. Obtain elevations along the route of improvements sufficient for engineering design purposes. <br /> 5 . Elevations will be based on NGVD 1929 unless otherwise directed. Cross sections for <br /> directional boring locations will be obtained. <br /> 6. Prepare and provide five (5) paper copies and one (1 ) digital file of the route survey upon <br /> completion of field work. <br /> The total length of the Route Survey is approximately 8,200 feet. <br />
