Our File #0649 <br /> August 31 , 2006 <br /> NON-EXCLUSIVE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AGREEMENT <br /> CONTINUING CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> ATTACHMENT <br /> • Project Description <br /> Work Order No . 8 provides for professional engineering services for the surveying, design, permitting, <br /> bidding and services during construction of a 12" force main for conveyance of wastewater in CR 510 <br /> between the east end of the Wabasso Bridge to A- 1 -A . <br /> Work Order No . 8 is being implemented at this time to provide professional engineering services by <br /> Masteller & Moler, Inc. associated with the project described above. The work to be performed as part <br /> of this Work Order will generally include providing a route survey and base plans; preparation of project <br /> design for the proposed 12" pipeline, preparation of contract plans; preparation of specifications and bid <br /> documents ; preparation and submittal of permit applications, assistance during bidding and contract <br /> administration/periodic inspection for the pipeline project. <br /> The estimated project construction cost is $435 ,000 . 00 <br /> A brief description of the scope of services for Work Order No . 8 is provided below: <br /> • Scope of Services <br /> Task A — Route Survey and Base Plans <br /> Masteller, Moler, Reed & Taylor, Inc. will perform a Route Survey for property located in Indian River <br /> County and lying in Section 23 , Township 31 South, Range 39 East and identified as County Route 510, <br /> from the east side of the Wabasso Bridge to State Road A- 1 -A (including intersection) . The total length <br /> of the Route Survey is approximately 4600 linear feet. <br /> Route Survey includes : <br /> 1 . Establish survey baseline as directed by the Engineer; <br /> 2 . Locate all monumentation for establishment of existing rights-of-way; <br /> 3 . Locate and identify all visible topographic features along the route (ie : power poles, mailboxes, <br /> pavement, culverts, etc.) ; <br /> 4. Obtain elevations along the route sufficient for engineering design purposes; <br /> 5 . Elevations will be based on NGVD 1929 unless otherwise directed; <br /> 6. Produce map of survey drawing for basis of engineering design; <br /> 7. Provide five paper copies and one digital file of route survey upon completion of field work <br />
