C. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS PHASE <br /> Based on the approved Design Development Documents and any further adjustments <br /> in the scope or quality of the project or in the construction budget authorized by the <br /> County, the Consultant shall prepare, for approval by the County, Construction <br /> Documents consisting of Drawings and Specifications setting forth in detail the <br /> requirements for the reconstruction of the Project, Bidding Information and revised <br /> Construction Cost. <br /> D. BIDDING, NEGOTIATION & PERMIT FILING PHASE <br /> The Consultant, following the County ' s approval of the Construction Documents and <br /> of the latest preliminary estimate of Construction Cost, shall assist the County in the <br /> request and the review of Bids for Construction. <br /> E. CONSTRUCTION PHASE-ADMINISTRATION <br /> OF THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br /> The Consultant ' s responsibility to provide Basic Services for the Construction Phase <br /> under this Agreement commences with the award of the contract for construction and <br /> terminates at the issuance to the County of the final Certificate for Payment or 60 <br /> days after the date of Substantial Completion of the Work, whichever comes first. <br /> The Consultant shall provide periodic Site Observations, Review of Contractor' s <br /> Applications for Payment, Contractors request for information and/or clarifications <br /> and Shop Drawing Reviews . <br /> F. SCHEMATIC DESIGN AND DESIGN DEVELOPMENT PHASE : <br /> During the Design Phase of the project, the Consultant will provide services for the <br /> following: <br /> 1 . Review of the Design Criteria. <br /> 2 . Preliminary Design. <br /> 3 . Preparation of Design Documents. <br /> 4 . Landscape & Irrigation Construction Drawings & Specifications Including <br /> Assistance With CCL Permit Graphics . <br /> 5 . Site Lighting & Photometrics <br /> 6 . Progress Meetings. <br /> 7. Monthly review of the Design Schedule. <br /> 8 . Final Submittal to the County. <br /> 9 . Advertisement and Bidding. <br /> 10. Attend Pre-bid Conference. <br /> 11 . Bid Evaluation and Recommendation of Award. <br /> 12. Attend County Commission Meetings on an as needed basis. <br />
