ATTACHMENT 1 to WORK ORDER NO. G= 1 <br /> OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF AUTOSAMPLER DATA <br /> COLLECTION SITES , AND COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OF <br /> STORMWATER SAMPLES FOR THE <br /> " EAST GIFFORD STORMWATER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT " <br /> 1 . SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The CONSULTANT shall assist the COUNTY as necessary so that tt e COUNTY <br /> complies with its stormwater sampling requirements at the East Gifford Stor water Pond <br /> ( Gifford Pond ) on 41 st Street , just west of the railroad track , in Vero Beach . The <br /> CONSULTANT will adhere to all requirements set forth in the project' s approved Quality <br /> Assurance Project Plan (QAPP ) , included herein as Attachment 4 . <br /> The CONSULTANT will provide its own transportation , tools (to maintain ` normal ' <br /> QA performance ) , housekeeping products (e . g . pest control , spray lube ) , external <br /> dessicant , decontamination soap , QA forms , office supplies for site folders , battery charger <br /> for site batteries , and a laptop computer compatible with autosampler hardware , The <br /> CONSULTANT will also provide the necessary supplies for stormwater sam le collection <br /> and site maintenance , including but not limited to : batteries for the automatic; stormwater <br /> samplers supplied by the COUNTY , PVC conduit , software , communication cords for <br /> instrument/laptop interface , miscellaneous hardware for site operation , and all other <br /> necessary appurtenances . <br /> The CONSULTANT will help install and will operate and maintain the two automatic <br /> stormwater samplers at the Gifford Pond and provide weekly inspection and maintenance <br /> visits . When stormwater samples are collected , the CONSULTANT will perform field <br /> measurements required by the QAPP and collect the samples , ice them as required , and <br /> deliver the samples to the COUNTY' s Central Wastewater Treatment Plant for pickup by <br /> the testing laboratory . <br /> The COUNTY will provide data parameter requirements ( necessary for proper <br /> instrument programming to satisfy FDEP requirements ) and guidance to contractor, two <br /> automatic stormwater samplers with flow meters , a contractor identification badge , <br /> surveying services , and manpower services for special projects (e . g . installation of sampler <br /> security containers , removal/spraying of intrusive aquatic vegetation , etc . ) . he COUNTY <br /> will also provide two security containers for the automatic samplers . <br /> ** END OF ATTACHMENT 1 ** <br /> 2 <br /> FAPublic Works\KeithM\Stormwater Projects\Gifford East\Water Quality Monitoring Program\Work Order No . 1 - M ke Wickwire . doc <br />
