Two locations : Stormwater Treatment Lake Inlet
Stormwater Treatment Lake Outlet
Number of Surface Water Sampling Events :
Stormwater Treatment Lake Inlet — 6 storm events
Stormwater Treatment Lake Outlet — 6 storm events
Total Number of Samplings :
Surface Water — twelve flow-weighted composite samples ( six from each
sampling location )
Rainfall Events :
The composite samplers ' float switches will be set so that they are rot activated
until the lake surface rises approximately 2 inches . This will insure i hat a
significant rainfall event is being sampled .
Rain Gauge :
A rain gauge will be located within the fenced stormwater treatment pond area .
Rainfall readings will be recorded to the nearest 0 . 01 - inch , each day throughout
the entire water quality monitoring program . We will also obtain rair fall data from
the nearby rain gauge at the Vero Beach Municipal Airport ,
Surface Water Testing Parameters :
Field Measurements :
1 , Temperature
2 . pH
3 . Salinity
4 , Dissolved Oxygen
Laboratory Analyses :
1 . Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen
2 , Nitrate- N , Nitrite- N
3 , Ammonia - N
4 , Total Phosphorus
5 , Color
6 , Biochemical Oxygen Demand ( BOD )
7 .
