according to primary road standards regardless of cost and that an <br />attempt be made to obtain Federal Funds for the purpose if necessary. <br />State Representative Clifford McNulty mentioned, that, in the past, <br />the Turnpike Authority has aided in "feeder road" building and might <br />help in this case. Chairman Graves and County Attorney Smith spoke <br />in favor ofresurfacing this section of Highway 60 to eliminate the <br />present "roller coaster" hazard and add years to the life of the <br />present highway. <br />Regarding an I-95 Interchange at Oslo Road, Commissioner Dritenbas <br />stated that 25,000 acres of new citrus groves have been set out in the <br />area'id suggested that an interchange was needed to handle the resultant <br />trucking and that it would be one of the most important aspects of <br />traffic relief. Mr. Davidson explained that the greatest portion of <br />this interchange cost would be in procuring right-of-way. <br />The remaining -items on the agenda were discussed briefly without <br />arriving at more definite solutions. <br />In conclusion Mr. O'Neil suggested that both the County and the <br />City of 'hero Beach follow up their request° with resolutions petitioning <br />the State Road Department for assistance in these matters. <br />The meeting was adjourned at 12:00 o'clock Noon. <br />ATTEST: �1 2 <br />RA / HARRIS, CLERK <br />ROBERT W.
