CLARIFICATIONS / CORRECTIONS/QUESTIONS AND RESPONSES <br />The following questions (with responses) have been received by Indian River County: <br />QUESTION NO. 1 <br />Our site work subs have done take off on dirt needed on line item #120-6-1 on bid schedule. They are <br />coming you with 40,000cy to do the embankment. On addendum 1 you have 36,950cy. I think that is <br />low and it will cause a problem as the job moves forward. <br />ANSWER NO. 1 <br />Please note that the total quantity of embankment required to meet the proposed grades includes <br />items 120-6-1, 120-6-2, 162-2, 162-3. This total quantity accounts for more than the 40,000cy <br />calculated. <br />QUESTION NO. 2 <br />Would we be able to get a copy of the soils report? <br />ANSWER NO. 2 <br />Yes, the soils report is attached. <br />QUESTION NO. 3 <br />Is there any more information you can provide to clarify the "100% sterile" requirement for the mulch? <br />ANSWER NO. 3 <br />The 100% sterile mulch must be comprised of all plant material. It must be free from any trash or <br />inorganic debris. <br />QUESTION NO. 4 <br />How can we arrange a field visit to view the baffles that need to be repaired on the rifle range? <br />ANSWER NO. 4 <br />The Project Engineer, Etienne Bourgeois, P.E. 772.226.1931, ebourgeoisPircgov.com, should be <br />contacted directly to arrange for a site visit. The baffles can be viewed when the rifle range is "cold" <br />between shooting sessions.
