h toA5 - � 0 <br /> C v o <br /> BRIDGE REPLACEMENTS AND WIDENING OF 66TH AVENUE <br /> FROM SOUTH OF SR 60 TO 59TIl STREET <br /> PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING , GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING <br /> AND LAND SURVEYING SERVICES <br /> AMENDMENT NO . 8 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERINGILAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN ARCADIS G & M, Inc . AND INDIAN RIVER <br /> COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement <br /> (AGREEMENT) dated September 6 , 2005 between ARCADIS G&M , Inc . (ENGINEER) and <br /> Indian River County (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section I — Project <br /> Limits and Description", " Section III - Scope of Services " , and " Section V - Compensation " . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following : <br /> " SECTION I - PROJECT LIMITS AND DESCRIPTION" is being modified to incorporate <br /> the following : <br /> Plans have been prepared for the construction of water main improvements along 66'" Avenue in <br /> conjunction with the roadway widening project. Plans for the construction of the water main have <br /> been prepared . Modifications to the water main plans have been requested by the County . The <br /> modifications are as follows : <br /> O Revise the proposed 8 " diameter water main on 33 `d Street to a 12 " diameter water main, <br /> and extension of the proposed water main an additional 1000 ' west to provide service to <br /> the Agricultural site . ENGINEER will obtain a field survey and prepare construction plans <br /> for the water main extension. <br /> a The current plans show the connection of the proposed water main to the existing water <br /> main on the north side of 26'" Street . The COUNTY has requested that the plans be <br /> revised to connect to the existing water main on the south side of 26`" Street . The <br /> proposed 20" diameter water main will be installed under 26'" Street by a directional bore . <br /> ® The current plans show the 20" water main along 66`x' Avenue to be installedon the east <br /> side of 66'" Avenue between the curb and gutter and guardrail . The plans will be revised to <br /> show that the water main will be installed 5 -feet west of the northbound edge of <br /> pavement, within the roadway . <br /> e Relocate the proposed water main on 33 `d Street from the south side of 33 `d Street to the <br /> north side . <br /> ® Eliminate the water main extension on the west side of 41 ' Street and 45 '" Street . <br /> Plans have been prepared for the construction of stormwater detention ponds for the project.
