made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried that we request the Shoup Voting Machine <br />Company to supply us with two interlocks at a cost of $6,490.00 <br />on a five year basis at 41/4% interest withan option to pay the: <br />balance at any time. <br />Mr. Hunter, of Urban Utilities Development, Inc. appeared <br />before the Board requesting a publication of Notice of Public <br />Hearing to increase the rates to $4.25 for the initial amount of <br />water to each consumer. On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, <br />seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried that <br />the request of''Russell Burks, present .franchise holder, and the <br />request of Urban Utilities, Inc. the proposed contract purchaser <br />of the present water facilities of Russell Burks under the franchise <br />now existing and under the proposed franchise to be transferred <br />to Urban Utilities Inc., be received and ordered filed and that a <br />Public Hearing on that request shall be held on April 24th, 1968 <br />at 10:00 o'clock A. M. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian that the low bid of American Bankers Life <br />Insurance of $7.20 per man per month be acceeite.d for life insurance <br />for the Sheriff's Department.
