Escrow Agent may reasonably rely upon the written or oral directions of the parties without verifying the accuracy thereof. 16 . RADON. RADON IS A NATURALLY OCCURRING RADIOACTIVE GAS THAT, WHEN IT HAS ACCUMULATED IN A BUILDING IN SUFFICIENT QUANTITIES , MAY PRESENT HEALTH RISKS TO PERSONS WHO ARE EXPOSED TO IT OVER TIME . LEVELS OF RADON THAT EXCEED FEDERAL AND STATE GUIDELINES HAVE BEEN FOUND IN BUILDINGS IN FLORIDA. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING RADON AND RADON TESTING MAY BE OBTAINED FROM YOUR COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT . THIS DISCLOSURE IS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA LAW TO BE CONTAINED IN ALL CONTRACTS FOR SALE OR LEASE OF BUILDINGS . 17 . MISCELLANEOUS. a. Entire Agreement . This Agreement embodies the entire agreement between the parties relative to the subject matter hereof, and there are no oral or written agreements between the parties, nor any representations made by either party relative to the subject matter hereof, which are not expressly set forth herein. b . Amendment. This Agreement may be amended only by a written instrument executed by the party or parties to be bound thereby . c . Headings . The captions and headings used in this Agreement are for convenience only and do not in any way limit, amplify, or otherwise modify the provisions of this Agreement. d . Time of Essence . TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OF THIS AGREEMENT; however, if the final date of any period which is set out in any provision of this Agreement falls on a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday under the laws of the United States or the State of Florida, then, in such event, the time of such period shall be extended to the next day which is not a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. e . Governing Law . This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the laws of the United States pertaining to transactions in such State . All of the parties to this Agreement have participated freely in the negotiation and preparation hereof; accordingly, this Agreement shall not be more strictly construed against any one of the parties hereto . f. Successors and Assigns ; Assignment . This Agreement shall bind and inure to the benefit of Seller and Buyer and their respective heirs, executors , administrators, personal and legal representatives, successors and assigns . Notwithstanding the above, Buyer shall not assign Buyer ' s rights under this Agreement without the prior written consent of Seller. g. Invalid Provision .
