WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10, 1968 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County <br />Florida met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, <br />Florida on Wednesday April 10., 1968 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. <br />Present were Robert W. Graves, Chairman; D. B. McCullers, Jr., <br />Vice Chairman; Donald Macdonald; and Jack U. Dritenbas. <br />Absent was Richard P. Bogosian. Also present were Jack G. - <br />Jennings, County .Administrator; Sherman N. Smith, Jr., County <br />Attorney; Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Burriss, Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and on Motion made <br />by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers <br />and unanimously carried the minutes of March 6 and March 20, <br />1968 were approved as written. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried that the <br />Administrator be directed to advise the State Road Department <br />in reply to. their letter of April 8 from Emmett L. Owens <br />concerning the bid of Dickerson, Inc. in the amount of $101,450.14 <br />for the reconstruction of 1.7 miles of State Road 510, Job <br />88510-3603, that it is the opinion and view of the Board of <br />County Commissioners �f Indian River County, Florida that this <br />bid is excessive and the expenditure of that amount of money <br />from the County .secondary road funds for that section of road is <br />not warranted. <br />Mr. F. L. Lloyd of Lloyd and Associates. appeared before the <br />Board in regard to the reconstruction of the foundations of <br />transmission line towers across the Indian River. On a Motion <br />made by Commissioner Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers it was unanimously carried that the Board approves <br />the bulkheadchange pertaining to towers submitted by Lloyd <br />nook 11 PA ;[ .9 <br />APR 10 1969 <br />
