l! <br />information extremely useful to hydrologists, geologists, engineers and other <br />with a technical water resources background,that the format and content also <br />be in a form which can be readily understood by the average layman, such as: <br />(a) The report should cover all the water resources of Indian <br />River County, ground and surface, present and potential. <br />(b) A summary should be included as a basic part of the report, <br />written to be readily understood by the general public. While the <br />body of the report should' contain technical language, footnotes and <br />references, and anything else necessary to impress another <br />technical researcher, the summary must contain the language and <br />information that a good newspaper reporter wo uld use. <br />(c) The report should include definite recommendations of <br />action, both public and private. <br />(d) The report should lay out a proposed salt barrier line to <br />prevent saltwater intrusion. <br />(e) Methods of water pollution prevention should be suggested. <br />(f) The present gauging aiid monitoring system of all agencies <br />should be reviewed and modifications recommended. <br />(g) Suggestions should be made regarding the reduction of <br />runoff and enhancement of recharge through natural and artificial <br />means. <br />(h) Any needed regulations should be suggested. <br />(i) Items requiring further study should be detailed. <br />6. That certified copies of this.
