Mr. Christopher 1 , Kafer, tr., P, E , <br /> March 13 ", 2012 <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> Changes: As the County 's consultant for the design and construction observation of this project, we will review and evaluate <br /> proposed additions, deletions, revisions, claims or change orders submitted by the CM. We will provide the County with <br /> recommendations as to the impact on the project cost and completion time schedule. Following the review and approval by <br /> the County, we will prepare written change orders for approval and execution by the CM. <br /> Clarification of Contract Documents: During the project's construction phase, B + P will prepare and issue supplementary <br /> information in the form�of drawings and/or written text for the County. We will clarify the project's construction contract bid <br /> documents or circumstances arising out of the construction progress. <br /> CM Pay Requisition: Based on the approved schedule of values, detailed as to labor and material costs for each project <br /> component, B + P will review and evaluate on a monthly basis, the CM 's periodic and final payment requests for work <br /> installed or stored at the job site. After review and evaluation of the accuracy of the requests payment, and subsequent <br /> resolution of differences between CM and architectural completion estimates, we will issue a recommendation to the County <br /> for the execution of such payment requests. <br /> Substantial & Final Completion: Upon written notification by the CM that the construction is substantially complete, the team <br /> will conduct One (1 ) pre-final on-site review of the work for each project, generating for the County and the CM a <br /> comprehensive "punch list" of incomplete or defective project components. Upon the conclusion and on-site review that the <br /> project is "substantially complete we will issue a notice for the County's review and acceptance. <br /> Using the same procedure as indicated above and upon written notification by the CM that incomplete or defective items <br /> listed in the "punch list" have been completed, we will conduct One (1 ) " final " review at the job site for each project to <br /> determine that the work has been completed according to the contract documents . We then will issue a certificate of "final <br /> completion " for the County 's review and processing of the CM 's final payment. <br /> FOOD SERVICE DESIGN CONSULTANT* <br /> The Food Service Facility Design for the Intergenerational Recreation Facility kitchen is unknown as to the magnitude of the <br /> proposed kitchen . These services will be performed by a Food Service Design Consultant to B + P to be named at a later <br /> date. <br /> Design services shall include the development of food service equipment plan and schedules, MEP rough-in plans, elevations <br /> and written (section 11400) specifications when approved by the County. <br /> NOT INCLUDED IN SCOPE OF SERVICES • <br /> The following services are not included within our scope of services and fee proposal : <br /> A. Geotechnical Engineering services. <br /> Be Environmental Consulting Services , <br /> C. Traffic Fngi neering / Studies. <br /> D. Food Service Consultant. <br /> E . Audio Visual/Security/Communications Equipment Design [design incl , conduit only]. <br /> F. LEED Services / Commissioning. <br /> G . Interior Design Services [incle material selection boards, interior renderings, FF& F] . <br /> N . Public Presentations (other than noted herein) . <br /> i . Models or Renderings (other than noted herein) . <br /> J • Permit Review Fees. <br /> K. Submission printing beyond what is noted in not-to-exceed reimbursable expenses. <br /> L. Lacrosse field design and lighting plans. <br />
