(Page) 1053.00 <br />• (Less 2/ 10 days) <br />Highway Equipment & Supply (Hendrix) 985.05 <br />Griffin Equipment Company (Hendrix) 960.00 <br />Shelley Equipment Company (Hendrix) 916.00 <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and the low bid of Shelley Equipment & Supply Company of <br />$916.00 for a 3/4 yard dragline bucket was unanimously accepted <br />subject to the County Administrator's certification that it meet <br />specifications. <br />Daniel Parrish appeared before the Board stating that he was <br />interested in forming an organization for the help and benefit of <br />prisoners. He stated that through this organization he felt that <br />a prisoner might be allowed to make more telephone calls so that <br />his family and employer may be informed= and that toothbrushes and <br />razor blades might be provided. The Board referred Mr. Parrish to <br />Sam Joyce, Sheriff and took no further action in the matter. <br />Commissioner Dritenbas reported that he had made a selection <br />of a person to represent Indian River County in the Central Florida <br />Regional Housing Authority. On a Motion made by Commissioner <br />Dritenbas, seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried <br />this Board recommends to the Governor that he appoint Alfred M. <br />Scattergood II to act as Commissioner from Indian River County to <br />the Central Florida Regional Housing Authority for four years. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Dritenbas, the following Resolution was unanimously <br />adopted: <br />MAY 2 2 196 <br />enoX •.1 PAGE 245 <br />
