Announcement was made thA t the Board was invited to meet at Gifford High School at 8:30 on May 23 to attend a test well drilling in the area by Urban Development Utilities. On.a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas the reappointment of Russell A. Gielow as life guard at Wabasso Beach was unanimously approved. Itwas announced that the bridge to Memorial Island was in need of• repair and that the City of Vero Beach was desirous of knowing if the County would be willing to share the expense. A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Dritenbas and unanimously carried that the Administrator be authorized to advise the City that the County will share in the cost of the repairs to the Memorial Bridge on Memorial Island on a fifty-fifty basis with the City of Vero Beach, the total cost of which shall not exceed $4,100.00.
