James L. Beindorf, engineer, appeared before the Board, presenting <br />a map of the proposed subdivision known.as The Moorings Subdivision. <br />Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />Graves and unanimously carried that the Board tentatively approves <br />the general lay out presented by James L. Beindor'L upon behalf of <br />' Milton Link for the proposed subdivision plan for the Moorings of <br />Vero Beach and tentatively approves the requested zoning, subject to <br />public hearing as recommended by the Zoning Commission, they <br />authorize publication of Notice of Public Hearing per plan of July24, <br />1968 as signed by the County Administrator. <br />Attorney 1. B. Vocelle appeared before the Board on behalf <br />of Mr. Yates and requested the Boards approval of a junk yard to be <br />established on North Gifford Road across the street from an existing <br />junk yard. A Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Graves and unanimously carried that the request be <br />approved subject to junk yard regulations. <br />The County Administrator reported that he had contacted the <br />State Road Department regarding the flooding conditions of State <br />Road #60. The Administrator stated that the State Road Department <br />has had two meetings with the Central and Southern Flood Control <br />District and that they are hopeful for a satisfactory arrangement <br />regarding the matter. <br />Upon a Motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried that the Administrator <br />be requested to advise the architect via registered mail of the list <br />of items needing repair in the New Courthouse Annex and advise him <br />that these items must, be taken care of immediately. <br />The Administrator reported that he had checked out a ten acre <br />park area in Oslo:Park and: had found that it was deeded to the <br />County by Vero -Beach Associated, Inc. with the stipulation that if <br />the parcel is not used for park purposes it reverts back to the <br />above named company. <br />BMA 11 ?VA 335 <br />A <br />
