Type Gutters be used in the future in all drainage systems of all. <br />subdivisions in the County. <br />The County Administrator presented a tentativeplat of a <br />Subdivision known as Pebble Bay Estates as meeting County <br />Subdivision Requirements and recommended its tentative approval <br />with the stipulation that Miami type gutters be used in the <br />drainage system. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />seconded by Commissioner Bogosian and unanimously carried, the <br />tentative approval was given for Pebble Bay Estates Subdivision <br />as recommended by the County Administrator. <br />John Zentz appeared before the Board and submitted a plan of <br />development for his property'south of the Sebastian Inlet. The` <br />• Board advised him that they have no objection to his plan as <br />-submitted to them as long as all development is done in accordance <br />with County Regulations. <br />Thomas H. Trent, Civil Defense Director, appeared before the <br />Board in regard to the conversion of the Courthouse Basement into <br />an Emergency Operating Center. He was advised that the County <br />would rather consider repairing the Civil Defense Building at this <br />time and a committee of Chairman °Dritenbas,.George Eyles and Mr. <br />Trent were requested to bring an estimate of these repairs to a <br />future meeting. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Graves that the request of the Civil Defense Director <br />to purchase an amateur radio transmitter at a cost not to exceed <br />$500.00 was unanimously approved. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Macdonald the request of Ranger Roberson, Florida <br />Forestry Service to install some of the County's pipe at Dale <br />Wimbrow Park was unanimously approved. <br />Don Adams of the City -County Building Department appeared <br />before the Board explaining that the six months trial period of <br />his Department has expired and that he was desirous of knowing the <br />feelings of the County Commissioners in the matter. He was told <br />that the Board was very well pleased with the results of his <br />organization, that he should so report to the City, and if there <br />DM11 1333 <br />were no objection from there, the Board would take the i <br />AUG <br />
