A Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Bogosian that.. the. Members of the Board of County <br />Commissioners and the County Administrator be authorized to attend <br />a Shoreline Erosion Program to be held in West Palm Beach on <br />September 12 was unanimously approved. <br />On,a Motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried that the wages of the County <br />Administrator be increased to $13,000.00 per year effective as of <br />October 1, 1968. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by <br />Commissioner Graves and unanimously carried that the Clerk be <br />authorized to deposit the unbudgeted surplus collections of Race <br />Track Funds for the year ending September 30,.1968 as follows: <br />General Fund <br />Road and Bridge Fund <br />Fine and Forfeiture Fund, <br />$11,000.00 <br />1,000.00 <br />12,000.00 <br />$24,000.00 <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian the out of County travel of the. County Agricultural Agent <br />to Cocoa to attend Extension Workers' Conference on September 6 and 7, <br />to Fort Pierce to attend South Florida Tomato Growers' Institute <br />on September 11, and to Indian River Field Laboratory,Fort Pierce <br />to meet with Research Personnel on September 18 was unanimously <br />approved. <br />The Monthly Reports of the County Agricultural Agent, the <br />County -Service Officer and the County Welfare Case Worker were <br />received and placed on file in the office of the Clerk. <br />Mr. L. J. Snell of Ocala and Mr. L. G. Craine of Orlando appeared <br />before the Board in regard to the Agreement for Investigation of <br />Water Resources between Indian River County and Florida Board of <br />Conservation, Division of Geology. Mr. Snell Stated that Mr. Craine <br />would be working on the investigation of water resources in Indian <br />River County and was now ready to start on the project.
