WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23, 1968 <br />The Board of County Commissioner of Indian River County, Florida <br />met in regular session at the Courthouse, Vero Beach Florida on <br />Wednesday, October 23, 1968 at 8:30 o'clock A. M. Present were Jack <br />• <br />U. Dritenbas, Chairman, Robert W. Graves and Richard P. Bogosian. <br />Absent were D. B. McCullers, Jr., Vice Chairman and Donald Macdonald. <br />Also present were Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator; Sherman N. <br />Smith, Jr., County Attorney and Alfred H. Webber and Janet N. Burriss, <br />Deputy Clerks. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and asked if there were <br />any corrections or additions to the minutes of September 30, October <br />9 and October 10. There were none and upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Graves and unanimously carried, the <br />minutes were approved as written. <br />Frank Rogel of the R. D„ Carter Engineering Firm, acting in behalf <br />of Mr. Edward Carr appeared before the Board regarding the Mobibhomes <br />subdivision called Indian River Acres Subdivision. Due to the small <br />size of the lots and Subdivision Regulations regarding septic tanks, <br />a Motion was made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried that the tentative approval of this <br />plat be tabled until the matter can be further studied and the matter <br />can be taken up with the State Board of Health. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian that approval be given <br />for the abandonment of Riverview Road as shown on Dixie Heights <br />Subdivision Unit ##3. Due to lack of second the Motion was not carried. <br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Graves that the request for <br />• <br />abandonment of Riverview Road as shown on Dixie Heights Subdivision <br />be denied., Due to lack of second the Motion was not carried. <br />The Administrator reported that the State Road Department will <br />mail a report on the findings of the traffic study at SR 5 and <br />SR 510, with recommendations. <br />OCT 2 31968 <br />3�Va <br />TT, h:•,., <br />0) <br />
