<br />as second class mail matter at the post office in Vero Beach, in said Indian River County, Florida
<br />for a period of one year next preceeding the first publication of the attached copy of adver-
<br />tisement: and affiant further says that he has neither paid nor promised any person, firm or
<br />corporation any discount, rebate, commission or refund for the purpose of securing this adver-
<br />tisement for publication in the said newspaper.

<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
<br />'that the Board of County Commis-
<br />sioners of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, will . receive bids at the
<br />hour of 9:00 A. M. Wednesday, Oc-
<br />tober 23, 1968, and at said time pub-
<br />licly open the same at the meeting
<br />of said Board, to he held in the
<br />County Commission Room, Indian
<br />River Courthouse, Vero Beach,
<br />Florida; all bids should be marked
<br />Civil Defense Building Repairs.
<br />Specifications may be obtained in
<br />,Room 114, Courthouse.
<br />1. Sandblast the entire two (2)
<br />story building, cut out and pateh
<br />all stucco cracks and loose
<br />stucco, and color -Crete, color to
<br />match the jail building, all
<br />corners to be plumb and
<br />straight.
<br />ALTERNATE:
<br />1. Sandblast the entire two (2)
<br />story building, apply sernteh
<br />cont, then finish cont of cement
<br />stucco, niter whieh a prime
<br />coat and two (2) finish coats of
<br />exterior cement paint (Sec.
<br />waterproof paint) or equal shall
<br />be applied.
<br />All windows and doors shall be
<br />scraped and sanded, and receive
<br />one (1) cont of Aluminum prime
<br />cont, followed by two (2) coats
<br />of exterior white paint: after
<br />prime coat has dried all win-
<br />dows and doors shall be caulked
<br />and sealed.
<br />After all work is completed, the
<br />area shall be cleared of all ex-
<br />cess materials and left clean.
<br />Inspection will be made before
<br />final painting and shrinkage
<br />cracks filled.

<br />A Motion was made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Graves and unanimously carried that these bids be referred to the
<br />Administrator in order that he may consider and examine them to
<br />determine the lowest and best bid and make his recommendation to the
<br />Board.
