A letter was received from B. J. McCullers, President of the <br />Citrus School P. T. A. requesting that pedestrian paths extending <br />from Citrus Road North to S. R. 60 be included in the State Road <br />Department plans for Emerson Avenue. After some discussion and verbal <br />contact with Mr. McReynolds, Principal of the School, a Motion was <br />made by Commissioner Bogosian, seconded by Commissioner Graves and <br />unanimously carried that the State Road Department be asked to <br />revise their plans for SR 607 to include bicycle paths and concrete <br />sidewalks from the South Relief Canal to Rosedale Road. <br />The County Attorney reported that he had received a letter from <br />the Trustees of the Internal Improvement Fund regarding the repurchase <br />of the McLarty submerged lands and that after an answer has been <br />received from the Attorney General as to how to handle the matter, a <br />decision will be made by*the Trustees. <br />On a Motion made by Commissioner Graves, seconded by Commissioner <br />Bogosian and unanimously carried, Commissioner Macdonald, attending a <br />sale of office furniture in Titusville on Wednesday, October 23, 1968 <br />was authorized to take the following action on behalf of the Board: <br />Purchase one eight -section conference table from C. S. Goshorn, <br />Box 566, Titusville for $45.00 <br />Purchase 13 stack chairs from Alex Chamberlin, 8 South Street, <br />Titusville for $3.00 each. <br />Purchase on Blue Ray Blueprint Machine from East Central Florida, <br />Regional Planning Council, 2323 South Washington Avenue, <br />Titusville for $50.00 <br />Purchase 4 ash trays from East Central Florida Regional Planning <br />Council, 2323 South Washington Avenue, Titusville for $1.00 each. <br />Rent from King Car and Truck Rental, 2 South Hopkins Street, <br />Titusville, one moving van at $20.00 for a period of 24 hours <br />plus mileage of 10 per mile and actual cost of gasoline used, <br />together with the necessary furniture pads at $2.00 per pad <br />per day. <br />Book If PAGE 422 <br />OCT 2 31968 <br />
