SECTION 01000 <br /> SUMMARY OF WORK <br /> PART 1 -- GENERAL <br /> 1 . 01 LOCATION OF WORK <br /> Work locations are shown on Dwg . S - 1 . <br /> 1 . 02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> IRCDUS proposes to add automatic valve capabilities to its reuse water distribution <br /> SCADA system . There are 8 locations with 11 existing valves which will be converted to <br /> automatic operation . The storage tank location will use existing valve & operator for Inlet <br /> and Outlet . Nine ( 9) valve actuators will be replaced and five ( 5 ) level elements will be <br /> replaced . Existing totalizing flow meters ( 9 ) will be reused and connected to the new <br /> SCADA system . Existing Storage Tank valve operators and flow meters will be <br /> connected to the Reuse distribution automation SCADA system . <br /> The proposal will include the replacement of ( 9 ) 120V valve actuators and ( 5 ) pond level <br /> devices and all necessary electrical work , terminations , and the addition of RTU ' s/PLC <br /> and associated interfaces and all NEMA 4X housing panels and antennas as required . <br /> Useable existing equipment will be utilized as much as possible , and the existing valve <br /> operators which are to be removed will be retained by the Owner. <br /> The contract also requires the addition of a HMI control screen at the Central <br /> WWTF located at 3550 491h St . Vero Beach , FL and a monitoring screen <br /> located at the Operation Center located at 4350 41s' St . , Vero Beach , FL <br /> The system will include all material , labor, field work , design , equipment selection , <br /> programming and screen configurations and testing to deliver a complete operable <br /> system . <br /> Provide ( 1 ) day of training (4 hours each ) to operating and maintenance personnel on <br /> system operation and field installation ( s ) and maintenance of equipment and <br /> instruments . <br /> The design and construction of the automation system described above shall <br /> accomplish the " Sequence of Operation " shown below . <br /> REUSE CONTROL SEQUENCE OF OPERATION <br /> Control of the reuse system will be thru radio device interface controlling automatic valves . <br /> Control will be from the Central WWTF Plant and monitoring at the Operation Center' s existing <br /> control panel and also through the County ' s fiber network . Operation will be controlled by one of <br /> three logic operations . <br /> 01000 Summary Of Work Reuse distribution <br /> 01000 - 1 <br />
